The Care Connection (Peer & professional facilitators)
At each meeting everyone benefits from hearing about the experiences, challenges and successes of both groups during a combined session. The meeting then splits into three separate groups: Peers (those with lived experience of mental illness); Young Adult Peers; Family and Friends. This format provides everyone with a confidential, safe environment in which to discuss the difficult issues they face and develop ways to cope with them.
