Children's Mobile Crisis Team (CMC Team)

The Children’s Mobile Crisis Team (CMC, formerly known as the Mobile Urgent Treatment Team: MUTT) is a mental health crisis team licensed by the State of Wisconsin that serves Milwaukee County youth. CMC Team was created to help children and teenagers in crisis. CMC Team responds to a wide range of needs in homes, schools, and throughout the community, wherever children and families need help to reduce a crisis, solve a problem, or assess a need.

CMC Team is available by phone, 24-hours-a-day, and is available to come to where needed between the hours of 7AM to 10PM, Monday through Friday, and 7AM to 10PM, weekends and holidays.


Comprehensive Community Services (CCS) for Youth

Comprehensive Community Services (CCS) for Youth is a voluntary program designed to provide support and services to youth and young adults along with their families living in Milwaukee County who are coping with a mental health or substance abuse diagnosis. CCS will coordinate resources to help you or a family member learn necessary skills and to assist in reaching personal goals. Must be Medicaid eligible, living in Milwaukee County with mental health or substance abuse diagnosis. Youth through 23 years old.


Grand Avenue Club      

A community for individuals who have experienced mental illness. Program participants are members of a community with meaningful work and meaningful relationships. Members work alongside staff to run GAC. Open 365 days a year including weekends and all holidays.

Call for Support Group information and times

Kyle's Corner

Provides support, free of charge, for bereaved children, teens and their adult caregivers. Sessions with trained group facilitators give children, teens and adults the opportunity to express feelings and share concerns they may be unable to discuss anywhere else. Activities structured around play, music, books and art help children and teens express and process feelings. Visit website for a listing of groups. Pre-registration is required.

O-YEAH Program

Older Youth Emerging into Adult Heroes is a program for older youth (16–23) and young adults involved in two or more service systems (mental health, special education, child welfare or juvenile justice), designed to provide support in managing the stress of life. Must be resident of Milwaukee County, eligible for Medicaid or BadgerCare and have a mental health diagnosis.

A youth-led group that is promoting youth and young adults voices in Wisconsin. M.O.V.E stands for Motivating Others through Voices of Experience. M.O.V.E. Wisconsin is made up of youth and young adults who have lived experience in various systems, such as mental health, juvenile justice and child welfare.

REACH, a program within Wraparound Milwaukee, provides coordinated community-based supports and services to families of youth with complex emotional, behavioral and mental health needs. Youth and family voluntarily want the support and services; must have a mental health diagnosis and be at risk of out-of-home placement. Youth must reside in Milwaukee County, along with their Medicaid eligibility.


Walkers Point Youth and Family Center

Walker’s Point Youth & Family Center provides emergency shelter for ages 11–17 and a 24-hour crisis line. We also provide a variety of services for youth and their families, including transitional living and supportive housing for ages 16–21, street outreach services, and support groups for families and youth ages 11–17.

Wisconsin Facets

Provides information and support for Wisconsin children and youth who have special needs, their families and others who support them. Wisconsin FACETS (Family Assistance Center for Education, Training and Support) provides resource referral, workshops/training, support groups and individual support for parents of children and youth with disabilities and others related to education issues.
