Interested in Mental Health?

NAMI on Campus is a student-led club that tackles mental health issues on campus. It aims to address mental health needs of all students so they may have a positive, successful and rewarding college experiences.

The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) on Campus is underway at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee!

Getting Involved:

  • Become a student member

  • Support the club at community events

  • Start mental health social media campaigns

  • Join our student support group

Collaborating:

  • Work with students and faculty on mental health projects

  • Collaborate with NAMI Greater Milwaukee and NAMI Wisconsin to bring educational programs to campus

  • Collaborate with other student-led organizations such as Active Minds to reduce mental health stigma on campus

Advocating for students

  • Design mental health resources

  • Learn about services at UWM

  • Advocate for students to improve services on campus

Open to all students who are

  • Living with a mental health condition

  • Family/friend of an individual with a mental health condition.

  • Have an interest in mental health.
